It’s not like I sit on pins and needles waiting for the Ohio State Fair concert announcement but I somehow missed this year’s. Just saw a post on the Columbus Underground message board revealing this year’s lineup.
In year’s past I’ve usually noticed one band that I’ve considered going to see (for the record - I’ve only seen two shows at the Ohio State Fair in my 20+ years living in Columbus: Weezer (2010) and the Rock Never Stops tour with Warrant, Quiet Riot, Slaughter, Firehouse (1998)). This year, I guess if I was handed free tickets, I’d go see Styx/REO Speedwagon and/or The Steve Miller Band. I know George Jones is a legend but you’d have to not only give me free tickets but throw in a few drinks to get me out to that one.
With ‘Wolf’s Law’ hitting stores today, The Joy Formidable has announced a spring tour which brings them to the LC on April 6. Ticket info coming soon.

Faker than the “BBC - Bin Laden death video” that your dumb friend clicked on on Facebook thus unleashing spam to everyone on Earth. Whoever’s responsible for this one did a pretty good job of making it look like Hannah Montana was covering “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” I’ll give’m that.
